Garry Conn: How To Sell Products Successfully On Your Blog

  • Forest Parks · 2 years ago
    Thanks again.

I have installed an amazon widget on my sidebar and have not really known what to do with it.

I almost removed it yesterday and still may do but I really want to look into making affiliate links work for me.

Some good advice on product selling - I had an Amazon banner on my sidebar, don't think I sold a thing in 3-4 months, you're right when you say you've got to give your readers a reason to click through to an affiliate site.

I'm trying this out with a few of my more popular posts on my site and I'm slowly starting to see some returns.

Excellent post! The key to being effective is making those products yours. I've done fairly well with affiliate marketing but that's because I do more than drop it onto my sidebar. I know a lot about te products because I market them effectively. I write about them.

    Hi Garry,

Great tips on selling more products on your blog. I haven't really had much success with the banners on my blog, but that may be due to not much traffic. Would you say that the position of your ads and banners be important as well?

    Thanks,

    Alan
