webduck, you are automatically enrolled the very first time you comment here each month. At the end of the month if you are the top commenter for that month you will get paid ten cents for every comment you made on my site! Keep in mind, that comments that don't contribute to the community of the site, or lack in level of value then I will delete it.

I created this incentive program to help encourage readers to not only comment on my site, but to also deliver a higher level of quality to the community of the site as whole.

Nice idea Garry, I will be fascinated to see how many more comments you get than is normal. BTW It's great your trying to get other peoples posts promoted on your site, but the current size of those sidebars means its too much to read, isnt there a style that is just post headings instead? just my opinion anyway.

Anyway hope the comments idea works out for you,

Wow, what an idea. You realize you'll have a ton of readers now. Great promo and what a nice gift to give your readers. My only problem is half the time I try sending you a comment and everyone is viewing your page as it never finishes loading. Wish me luck anyways. I found you throught the technorati train, but have come to really love reading your work.

Yeah it is indeed a good promotional way not only to find out the readers but also to increase the page views. But it may also increase spam and page with too many comments may take a lot of time to load and this will annoy the new occasional readers

This is an interesting idea! I am the top commentator already this month, and this will bring me up to 10 comments I believe.

Let us know how much spam you end up getting and killing before it hits the pages. I would be interested to see that.

This is a great idea to get more readers, but you will have to keep track of increasing spam. I have been getting lot of spam comments these days.
